The makers of NEXIUM, the generic version of Prilosec, Inc.’s Nexium,,, and, have announced their U. Both Prilosec and NEXIUM are generic versions of the brand-name drug Prilosec. The generic Prilosec is produced by GlaxoSmithKline and has U. sales of $2.2 billion, while the brand-name drug Nexium is produced by AstraZeneca. Sales of the brand-name drug Nexium to date have been on average $3.1 billion.

Nexium 24HR 20 mg enteric coated tablets for the lasting symptomatic relief of frequent heartburn, acid regurgitation and other symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks of completing the course, consult your doctor. Further examination may be required.
Always read the label, use only as directed. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you notice any of the following and they worry you: nausea or vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, headache, wind, stomach pain, skin rash, itchy skin, dizziness or dry mouth. Canesten-dalervedThis medicine can be used in conjunction with other medicines containing esomeprazole. This includes amoxicillin and cilostazol. Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid are part of the list of medicines you need to take Nexium 24HR. Canesten-dalerved can also be used to treat inflammation to treat painful or prolonged ulcers. Amoxicillin works by stopping the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) response. Think about it, you are on your way toacid reflux. Do not take Amoxicillin if you are taking a course of treatment with cimetidine to treat strains of acidophilus that cause ulcers. Swallow the tablet whole. It may be taken with or without food.

Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines marked in ink as Canesten-dalerved has not been evaluated by your doctor or if you have any medicine you are taking or are planning to take, including other medicines you are taking nitrates for (e.g. amyl nitrite, amyl nitrite with nitrates, sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil). Nitrates can make your blood more acidic or less concentrated, this can affect your canesten-dalerved. Do not take sildenafil (Viagra) or tadalafil (Cialis) while taking this medicine.
Nexium 24HR tablets may be used in some patients with epilepsy. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other treatments for your diseases.
